Michael Gerard Tyson (born June 30, 1966) is an American former professional boxer who competed from 1985 to 2005, with a post-retirement fight in 2024.Mike Tyson is considered one of the greatest heavyweight boxers of all time. His official record is 50 wins, 6 losses, and 2 no-contests, with 44 of his wins coming by knockout. Tyson's early nicknames were "Iron Mike" and "Kid Dynamite", and later he was known as "the Baddest Man on the Planet". 

In the final analysis, should Tyson beat Lewis, he will rank behind only Ali, Louis, Johnson (based not only on his title victories, but also on his wins in pre-title fights against the strong bunch of avoided black heavyweight contenders of his day), Foreman and Holyfield on the all-time heavyweight list.
